Records and Police Checks |
To obtain a Police Records Search or a Vulnerable Sector Search:
- Must be a resident of the City of Woodstock and / or volunteering for an organization within the Woodstock Police Service area.
- Must attend in person and complete the appropriate Consent Form
- It takes 3 business days to process. Applicant is to pickup the Record Check letter in person and produce photo identification, as it cannot be released to another party.
- Must produce photo identification (i.e. Ontario Driver’s Licence, Ontario Health Card)
- If the application is for a Volunteer Position, Adoption Clearance, Student/College/University, Training Course the fee is $5.00 (Cash Only). The applicant must produce a letter from the Organization or School as proof of Volunteering and/or enrollment.
- If the application is for Employment, Pardon Application or Immigration Purposes, the fee is $30.00 (Cash Only).
- If the applicant has a letter from an Organization that is requesting the VULNERABLE SECTOR SEARCH, they must also complete a Form 1 Consent for a Criminal Record Check For a Sexual Offence for Which a Pardon has been Granted or Issued. The Form 1 is available at the Woodstock Police Service.
