UPDATE – ROAD REOPENED

WOODSTOCK, ON (September 5, 2023) – Police have left the area and Vansittart Avenue is now open for public use.

At approximately 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Vansittart Avenue and Ridgewood Drive for report of a collision involving a motorcycle and SUV. The road was closed for investigators and one person was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing, however police have cleared the area and the road is open to the public.

ROAD CLOSURE FOR COLLISION

WOODSTOCK, ON (September 5, 2023) – Vansittart Avenue is closed between Lakeview to Oxford Road 17th as police investigate a collision that took place in the area of Vansittart Avenue and Ridgewood Drive. One person has been transported to hospital at this time. Updates will be provided when available.
