DRUG CHARGES

WOODSTOCK, ON (October 31, 2023) – Woodstock Police lay drug charges as a result of a routine traffic stop.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, at approximately 1:40 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service conducted a traffic stop in the area of Huron Street and Dundas Street. The occupants of the vehicle were found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, the 34-year-old driver of Woodstock is facing the following charges:

• Possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine;
• Driving while under suspension; and
• Use plate not in accordance with regulations.

Additionally, the 38-year-old passenger of Cambridge, ON is facing a possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine charge.
