UPDATE

WOODSTOCK, ON (May 16, 2023) – On Monday, May 15, 2023 at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service arrested a 41-year-old resident of Bright, ON in relation to this investigation. As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with:

  • Dangerous operation; and
  • Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court.

 

UPDATE

WOODSTOCK, ON (May 15, 2023) – The Woodstock Police Service have located the vehicle and individuals involved in this investigation. They were found safe.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation.

 

Police Investigation

WOODSTOCK, ON (May 15, 2023) – On Sunday May 14, 2023 at approximately 9:40 p.m., the Woodstock Police Service responded to a parking lot in the area of Springbank Avenue north and Devonshire Avenue after receiving a report of hearing someone yell in distress.

Police are looking for a white, single cab truck in relation to this investigation. A bracelet was located in the area. Police ask that if any members of the public have information about the whereabouts of the truck, the owner of the bracelet or any other information related to this investigation to contact police at 519-537-2323.

There is no perceived risk to public safety at this time.
