Woodstock, ON (September 8, 2021) – The Woodstock Police Service is once again teaming up with Oxford County’s OPP for Operation Zero. Woodstock and County Police will be being conducting a focused blitz on school zone safety while everyone gets used to the back to school routine.

Police will be monitoring school zones to ensure drivers are traveling safely and abiding by appropriate speed limits and no stopping signs. These restrictions are put in place to ensure the safe flow of traffic and reduce the risk of collisions with pedestrians or passengers climbing out of vehicles.

Please drive cautiously and stay alert. Pedestrians should stay on the side walk, cross streets at street corners and follow the directions of crossing guards to ensure safe travel to and from school.
