Woodstock, ON (November 17, 2021) – On Monday, November 15, 2021 at approximately 5:30 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Sydenham Street for reports of a suspected impaired driver after observing a vehicle traveling at high rates of speed without lights, failing to stop at a stop sign and causing a collision with another vehicle traveling on Hughson Street.


Upon further investigation, the male driver was found to have more than double the legal blood alcohol concentration.


As a result, the 52-year-old male driver’s vehicle was impounded for seven days and he was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs




Woodstock, ON (November 17, 2021) – On Tuesday, November 16 2021 at approximately 8:45 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to reports of a stolen vehicle from the area of Bain Street. The vehicle is described as a silver 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with no licence plates, a cracked left tail light, crack on the front bumper, tinted rear windows and a hole in the rear bumper above the trailer hitch.
