WEEKEND POLICE BRIEFS

Woodstock, ON (November 22, 2021)

 

STOLEN TRAILER

On Friday, November 19, 2021 the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Norwich Avenue and Pattullo Avenue for reports of unknown suspect(s) entering a compound sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and reportedly stealing a trailer.

MISCHIEF

On Friday, November 19, 2021 at approximately 11:a.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to Cowan Fields on Devonshire Avenue for reports of approximately $2500.00 in damage to the washrooms.

MISCHIEF

On Friday, November 19, 2021 at approximately 2:10 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to College Ave Church on Wilson Street for reports of mischief to the property. A fence and sign were reportedly found damaged.

SHOPLIFTING

On Friday, November 19, 2021 at approximately 7:35 p.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to a business on Dundas Street and Vansittart Avenue for reports of suspicious persons. Upon arrival, police located a female wanted by Woodstock Police, Waterloo Regional Police and Oxford OPP.

 

As a result of the investigation, the 25-year-old female of Woodstock was arrested and charged with:

  • Resist Peace Officer
  • Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
  • Obstruct Peace Officer
