POLICE BRIEFS – STOLEN VEHICLES

WOODSTOCK, ON (April 21, 2022)

 

STOLEN TRACTOR TRAILER INVESTIGATION

On Saturday, April 16, 2022 at approximately 10:00 p.m., unknown suspects reportedly broke into a secure compound on Parkinson Road and Springbank Avenue and stole a tractor trailer containing a large amount of copper piping.

 

An unknown male suspect helped hook the trailer up to the truck while a second suspect drove the tractor trailer. The male suspect closed the gate behind the tractor trailer and was then picked up by a light coloured SUV. The tractor trailer travelled westbound on Parkinson Road while the SUV travelled east.

 

The investigation revealed that 14 other trailers in the compound had also been entered.

 

The Woodstock Police Service recovered the tractor and trailer on April 17, 2022 from the area of Bruin Boulevard with the copper outstanding.

STOLEN SNOWMOBILES AND TRAILER

On Friday, April 15, 2022 at approximately 11:20 p.m. an unknown male suspect was attended a residence on Hemlock Street. A dark coloured single cab pickup truck then pulled up to the residence where the unknown male hooked up an enclosed trailer containing two snowmobiles to the truck. The two suspects then travel westbound on Hickory Street towards Oxford Road 11 with the trailer.

 

The enclosed trailer is a 2021 Legend Aluminum 7.5 Explorer Snow 23’ trailer and was described as red and black with the word LEGEND on the side. The two snowmobiles inside the trailer were described as 2021 Ski-Doos.

 

STOLEN NISSAN ROGUE

Sometime between Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 17, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. a grey 2017 Nissan Rogue was reportedly stolen from the driveway of a residence on Devonshire Avenue near Springbank Avenue.

STOLEN NISSAN VERSA

Sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022 a 2015 blue Nissan Versa with a Blue Jays sticker on the rear window was reportedly stolen from a parking lot on Ferguson Drive.

RECOVERED STOLEN KIDA SORENTO

On Monday, April 18, 2022 at approximately 7:50 a.m. the Woodstock Police Service responded to a business on Dundas Street near Waterloo Street for reports of an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot. The investigation revealed the silver Kia Sorento had been reported as stolen out of London, ON. Video footage captured a male and female exciting the vehicle then travelling eastbound on foot.

RECOVERED STOLEN CHEVROLET SILVERADO

On Thursday, April 21, 2022 while on patrol, police observed a Chevrolet Silverado completely covered in dirt and mud in a parking lot on Blossom Park Road. The investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen out of Harrow, ON.
