IMPAIRED DRIVER
WOODSTOCK, ON (April 29, 2024) – A driver is facing impaired driving charges after rear-ending another vehicle at a red light.
On Sunday April 28, 2024 at approximately 4:05 p.m., the Woodstock Police Service responded to the area of Oxford Road 4 and Dundas Street for reports of a two-vehicle collision. Upon further investigation, police determined one of the drivers was impaired.
As a result, the 43-year-old driver of Kitchener, ON is facing:
- One count of operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and
- One count of operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Police urge drivers to know your limit and do not get behind the wheel if you have been drinking.
