The Woodstock Police Service is accepting applications from internal and external applicants for the following position:
Part-Time Property Management Assistant - Clerical
Applications will be accepted until February 18, 2025 at 4:00pm.
Successful candidate will possess:
- Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient data entry skills
- Good working knowledge and experience with software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe
- Previous experience working in a police or legal environment, knowledge of CPIC and Niche RMS would be considered an asset
Wages and Benefits:
The hours of work vary as determined by the needs of the Service. The rate of pay will be in keeping with the current Civilian Collective Agreement, ranging from $30.10 - $35.82 per hour.
Part-time members receive pay in lieu of benefits along with vacation pay and are offered the opportunity to enroll into a well-established pension plan upon hire.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- College Diploma in Office Administration or Legal Studies would be an asset
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of MFIPPA procedures
- Proficient data entry and keyboarding skills with a minimum 40 wpm
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and multi-task
- Must be flexible in altering hours to meet the needs of the organization
