A record suspension (formerly known as a pardon) allows people who were convicted of a criminal offence to have their criminal record removed and kept separate and apart from other records.
You will need a local record search done by each police service where you live now and from every place you have lived in the last five years.
Our Records Unit is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm for in person requests. If you wish to mail your application, please send your request to:
Woodstock Police Service
615 Dundas Street
Woodstock, Ontario
N4S 1E1
Attention: Records Unit
Please include the following in your request for a local:
- Completed Record Suspension Application Form
- Clear photocopy of two pieces of identification
- Certified cheque and made payable to the Woodstock Police Service (contact the records department for the current fee)
Applications that are incomplete and/or missing payment will be sent back to you.
